What we collect, and why
When your AI assistant makes a booking request through OpenSlot, we collect your name, phone number and (optionally) email so the business can honour the booking and we can send you confirmations. That is our lawful basis: performing the contract you asked for. For call-out trades (e.g. a plumber), we also collect the visit address — shown only to that one business.
We run the public business directory on the basis of legitimate interest: it contains business information, not personal information.
What we don't do
- No advertising, no selling or sharing data with anyone except the business you booked.
- No payment details — we don't take payments at all.
- Business owners' phone numbers are never exposed through our API.
How long we keep it
Customer details on a booking are anonymised 90 days after the appointment or visit. API request logs hold no customer personal details.
Your rights
UK GDPR gives you the right to see, correct or delete your data. Email hello@openslot.londonand we'll sort it, normally within a week. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
